The address of the property that you are staying in is 6 Rue D'Egalite, Tourbes and is one of the prettiest villages in the Department of Herault, steeped in more than 1,000 years of history!

Tourbes is a working village - in contrast to many of the surrounding villages where holiday homes outnumber local residents. The majority of the population is involved in the main local industry, winemaking, and Tourbes Cave Co-operative has a very good reputation. There is a very friendly baker and butcher, with a general store/tobacconists and newsagents (selling UK papers only a day late), a boulangerie (closed on Mondays), butcher and chemist, with other needs supplied by a weekly mini-market on Wednesday where you will find a greengrocer and fishmonger. The supermarkets of Pezenas are only 5 minutes away by car.

Access to the local tennis courts can be had by paying a small fee and deposit for a key at the chemists shop.
